Sunday Stampin'

Hello all

Well I know it has been a while since I have posted on my blog, but life has just been busy but I do feel neglectful for not posting, so here I am and gonna try to post at least twice a week, hope you will still want to visit me :)

So tonight I wanted to show you a little card but also tell you about the new catalogue.....!

Okay so my little card tonight is one that I made quickly for a friend who had a baby girl..... who she called Millie :) Congrats Tony and Emma

Here is my card

The little deer is from the Made with Love Stamp set which really is the best stamp set for baby cards.... in fact I have a few more so show you in the next few weeks :)  The paper is retired now but we do have a very similar one in A Little Foxy DSP stack in a lovely Smoky Slate which would work perfectly too.  The sploggy background and the congrtualtions sentiment are also in the same set and Gorgeous Grunge with some linen thread and gemstones! (it's a girl sentiment is also retired sorry guys, but check out Endless Birthday Wishes if you like the wording as it is in there too :))

So just on to the NEWS!!!  Our 2016/17 Winter Catalogue is just around the corner.... as demonstrators we get to do our first order this week, so that we can start to make some lovely samples to show you and to tempt you!  Wow I already have a million projects that I want to make with the new goodies and I know you will find this amusing but it is just SO BIG! There are so many new stamp sets, punches, framelits, papers and oh the glitter!

You can order from the new catalogue on 1st September  - so make sure you let me know if you would like me to send one out to you.  If you have ordered from me in the last 2 months it will be in the post as soon as I am allowed to send :)

Right I am off to write out my list...... I may be a while!

Jems Monthly Blog Hop June 2016

Hello again and thank you for joining me and the Jems on their monthly blog hop.... here we go!

NEW CATALOGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NEW IN COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOADS OF NEW STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a little excited if you can't tell :)

So the Jems are sharing with you lots of new and fun projects that can be made with the New Stampin' Up! 2016-2018 in colors and a few new products I am sure will also be used.

Every year Stampin' Up! retires 5 colours and welcomes 5 new colours which are always available for 2 years.  This year welcomes these stunning new colours... don't they just make ya smile!

So I made my cards to show off the new colors but YEP I had to show ya a few lovely new products too.... are ya ready?

These are what I used...... SWIRLY BIRD STAMP SET, THOUGHTFUL BANNERS STAMP SET and PUNCH AND PERFECTLY WRAPPED STAMP SET... yep you do want them all :) You can find them all now in my shop!

Wanna see the cards?

Flirty Flamingo first.....

Then Sweet SugarPlum and Peek-a-boo Peach

and finally Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim
The Swirly Bird stamp set has SO many elements to let you make flowers, and kites, and birds in nests, and sail boats..... and I am sure another few hundreds things that we have not yet seen but our amazing crafty friends will come up with.

The flowers have been stamped off for the background and the true color used for the swirls and the same with the kites (top one true color, other 2 stamped off once).  By doing this you can see that even with just one ink pad you can get a variety of colours... you could even go another shade lighter that that!

Some of the sequins were what I had left over when I made up my Watercolor Wishes set, and then others are just non Stampin' Up! ones that I have collected over the years.

So which one is your favourite?  Mine has to be Flirty Flamingo.... even the name is wonderful!

Here are another few little cards and bookmarks that I made to send out with my catalogues - which by the way if you would like one, please drop me a message with your details and I will get one in the post to you.

Okay I better let you get on with the blog hop.... thank you for dropping by to see me, and hopefully you will get lots of lovely ideas on your way around the Jems :)

Just a little thank you....

We all need a nice stock of thank you cards and these ones are so quick and easy and I hope you agree bright and cheerful and one that you would love to receive!

I have used Mint Macaron card stock as a base card and the first task was to use the Large Polka Dot embossing folder on them all.

For this one below I simply added blackberry bliss ink with One Big Meaning stamp set, a strip of card stock and using the petite petals punch some little flowers with rhinestones.

The second one was using Melon Mambo card stock, Mint Macaron ink, and pearls.  Stamp set this time was Another Thank You

And my final one I fancied a little different look so got my 1/2 inch punch out and punch enough circles to cover the polka dots!  Again the stamp set was One Big Meaning.

Thank you for dropping by :)

Below are the supplies used

Bright DSP made easy

Good morning all and hope you are enjoying the sunshine this weekend.... hoping the summer is here to stay now

I wanted to share with you a couple of cards that I made in preparation for a card workshop 2 weekends ago.  I had a number of beginners so wanted to make the first card nice and easy for them!

We used a whisper white thick card base that was 10cm x 28cm and then some Brights DSP at 9.5cm x 13.5cm.... so far so good

We then moved on to a piece of whisper white that was 5cm x 10cm and chose a punch.  I had Elegant Butterfly, Pansy or Sweetheart.

Next came a little stamping.... and again I had a selection of sentiments for them to chose from.  A dozen thoughts 'hello', Six Sided Sampler 'hello, sweet friend' and Tin of cards 'Happy Birthday'.

A few dimensional and rhinestones and we have a card... or two.

Thank you for dropping by and leave me a message so I know you have been :)

If you wish to buy any of the items shown, please go to my online store HERE

Jems Blog Hop May 2016

Hello all

Thank you for joining me on the Jems Blog Hop.

Wow what a week we have had.... as demonstrators we have been allowed to order our pre order items, so that we can make a start on showing our customers some lovely sneak peeks of items that are in the new catalogue on 1st June - I am SO excited to share some new products with you.....

BUT..... for now the Jems are looking at all the lovely items that we are retiring when the old catalogues leaves us.....

My choice to share with you is one that I have loved

Six Sided Sampler and Punch

For my cards I have recreated one that I have made several times before and that is CASE from the Stampin Up Idea Catalogue (as above).  I used Blushing Bride, Smoky Grey and Crumb Cake inks with the lovely Gorgeous Grunge for the background.  I then added Blushing Bride glitter paper and butterfly from the Bold Butterfly Framelits.  I used the lovely stamp set from the Watercolor wishes for my Happiest Birthday Wishes sentiment.

My second card is then a CASE of the original with a few additions.  I used Kraft card for the card base, and Mint Macaroon, Smoky Grey and Crumb Cake inks again with the lovely Gorgeous Grunge for the background.

I have the Washi tape punch and ''Thanks'' from the Tin of Cards stamp set and again with the butterfly and with the addition of the bitty butterfly.  The small heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack which is also retiring.... This I am very sad about I love this little heart stamp... ah well new goodies to buy!!

Thank you joining me and please make sure you pop along to see what the rest of the Jems have to offer :)

7/4/2016 Weekly Deals

Evening all

There are a few 'changes' coming up one in the next few months and the first is to the Weekly Deals.  Stampin' Up! have introduced improvements in stock control which mean they now don't have so much surplus stock, which was why the weekly deals were started - SO you only have 2 more weeks to get the goodies at such low costs. However they will be replaced with less frequent but better 'Specials' promotions - woo hoo!

Please make sure you're checking my blog regularly for details and I will be doing a order tomorrow evening if you wanted to add anything to my order to save postage :) or pop over to my SHOP to place your own order.

Check out the FAB deals that are on offer this week.
