Just a little thank you....

We all need a nice stock of thank you cards and these ones are so quick and easy and I hope you agree bright and cheerful and one that you would love to receive!

I have used Mint Macaron card stock as a base card and the first task was to use the Large Polka Dot embossing folder on them all.

For this one below I simply added blackberry bliss ink with One Big Meaning stamp set, a strip of card stock and using the petite petals punch some little flowers with rhinestones. 

The second one was using Melon Mambo card stock, Mint Macaron ink, and pearls.  Stamp set this time was Another Thank You

And my final one I fancied a little different look so got my 1/2 inch punch out and punch enough circles to cover the polka dots!  Again the stamp set was One Big Meaning.

Bright DSP made easy

Good morning all and hope you are enjoying the sunshine this weekend.... hoping the summer is here to stay now

I wanted to share with you a couple of cards that I made in preparation for a card workshop 2 weekends ago.  I had a number of beginners so wanted to make the first card nice and easy for them!

We used a whisper white thick card base that was 10cm x 28cm and then some Brights DSP at 9.5cm x 13.5cm.... so far so good

We then moved on to a piece of whisper white that was 5cm x 10cm and chose a punch.  I had Elegant Butterfly, Pansy or Sweetheart.

Next came a little stamping.... and again I had a selection of sentiments for them to chose from.  A dozen thoughts 'hello', Six Sided Sampler 'hello, sweet friend' and Tin of cards 'Happy Birthday'.

A few dimensional and rhinestones and we have a card... or two.

Jems Blog Hop May 2016

Hello all

Thank you for joining me on the Jems Blog Hop.

Wow what a week we have had.... as demonstrators we have been allowed to order our pre order items, so that we can make a start on showing our customers some lovely sneak peeks of items that are in the new catalogue on 1st June - I am SO excited to share some new products with you.....

BUT..... for now the Jems are looking at all the lovely items that we are retiring when the old catalogues leaves us.....

My choice to share with you is one that I have loved 

Six Sided Sampler and Punch

For my cards I have recreated one that I have made several times before and that is CASE from the Stampin Up Idea Catalogue (as above).  I used Blushing Bride, Smoky Grey and Crumb Cake inks with the lovely Gorgeous Grunge for the background.  I then added Blushing Bride glitter paper and butterfly from the Bold Butterfly Framelits.  I used the lovely stamp set from the Watercolor wishes for my Happiest Birthday Wishes sentiment.

My second card is then a CASE of the original with a few additions.  I used Kraft card for the card base, and Mint Macaroon, Smoky Grey and Crumb Cake inks again with the lovely Gorgeous Grunge for the background. 

I have the Washi tape punch and ''Thanks'' from the Tin of Cards stamp set and again with the butterfly and with the addition of the bitty butterfly.  The small heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack which is also retiring.... This I am very sad about I love this little heart stamp... ah well new goodies to buy!!
