Ribbon of Courage - Lemon Lime Twist says Hello

Happy Friday People

Wow another week has just flown by and I am here today with my final selection of cards made with the Ribbon of Courage Stamp set.  I am hoping by the time you are reading this I will also be the happy owner of the dies set that matches!!  You should buy the bundle as you will get 10% off if you do!

Okay on to my card today.  So I wanted to play with Lemon Lime Twist..... I LOVE this color.  I really did not think I would when I first saw it, but when you get to use it, the color is so fresh and vibrant, I want to use it every day!

I started off with some watercolor papers, spritz with water using a spritzers and then using my clear block, just stamped in the ink and onto the card.... and wait for that lovely ink to start to spread!  I did this a couple more times and then got out my heat gun and blasted it to dry.  Then using a dry clear block did the same to get the speckled darker color.  No magic to this card, just lots of fun!

I then embossed in the lemon lime twist ink on white card stock and embossed with clear powder.  To use our inks to stamp with to emboss, I simply stamp in Versamark ink first and then onto the ink pad, it does not harm your ink pads, just remember to clean you stamp before using the Versamark again!

The little Hello is again from Jar of Love and I have added a couple of silver sequins for some bling!

Have a lovely weekend all

Ribbon of Courage - Sending Love and Hugs

Happy Wednesday People

My card today again uses the Ribbon of Courage Stamp Set.

Did you know that this set was designed by a Stampin Up Demonstrator??  The amazing Patty Bennett was invited to Stampin Up HQ when she made her Million Dollar Sales. She was then lucky to get to design a stamp set, I think she did an amazing job and hope to see this set in the catalogue for many years to come as we all need it!

For this card I used Melon Mambo cardstock and Ink for the background and one of the sentiments in the set too.  I then used a couple of leaves and flowers from the Jar of Love stamp set and then added gems to the flowers in the ribbons. Yes I may have gone slight OTT with the gems... but I do love bling!

You will also see that I have used the Oval Stiched Dies and Blushing Bride cardstock and ink, and Lemon Lime Twist ink for the leaves.

I really enjoyed making this card.

Blossom or Sea Shell?

Whoo hoo Friday again!

Today I have a little something different from me..... What do you think?

Can you see the stamps that I have used from the Bunch of Blossoms set?  That large petal has become my sea shell and the 5 leaf petal my starfish!! I used a couple of other sets too to make by underwater scene including Playful backgrounds for the bubbles, Gorgeous Grunge for the dots and Jar of Love for the water reefs.... The sentiment is also from the Jar of Love set.  I also used the Bunch of Banners framelit for that cute little sentiment!

I have really enjoyed using this set this week and so pleased that it will be available next year too! Just a reminder if you want the discount - you only have until Wednesday next week to get your order to me!!

Thank you for dropping by and see you soon
