Cool Treats Friday Finale

Happy Friday People

I am so looking forward to the weekend!! I got a lovely afternoon tea booked with my work buddies in Margate and then lots of time for crafting :)

Today little card is again just using the stamps in the Cool Treats Stamp Set and again lots of lovely colors.

I use Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake and Lemon Lime Twist (you can get this on 1st June!! I promise!!)

You can see that my stamping is not perfect on all the lollies and you can spend lots of time to sit and get them perfect, but I actually like little imperfections as it makes it handmade to me :)

So I hope you have enjoyed my little selection of Cool Treats this week and remember you have until the end of the month to get it at the 10% discounted offer!

Cool Treats with smiles

Happy Wednesday People

So last weekend on our Jems Blog hop, the lovely Sharon made a cute little card with Nailed it Stamp Set and put some little smiley faces on her tools! I had never seen these smiles in the stamp set (*note to self - to pay more attention to my lovely stamps) and they are so adorable!  So I knew that I needed to use these on my cards this week and when I was looking on Pinterest I saw THIS cute little card that I knew I wanted to CASE.  Thank you Brian for the inspiration.

How cute are those lollies with faces! lol I used Watermelon Wonder and Peekaboo Peach on this one and the papers are also from the Tasty Treats DSP pack.  I don't often add ribbon to cards as I am not good at bows but a little knot on this one looks okay.

They really are the cutest litttle faces!!

So then I wanted to get the ice creams in on the fun.... so came up with this one!

OMG! Too cute!! For this card I used Peekaboo Peach again but with Pool Party, some Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip. I stamped the stripes on this one with the huge background stamps Diagonal Stripes and found some coordinating ribbon again :)  The sentiment is from Lift me up stamp set.
Hee Hee I love them.

Let me know if you would like to purchase this set - or simply click the shop now button below

Happy Stampin and be back Friday!

Cool treats week

Happy Monday people

So this week I wanted to share with you some cards from the using the Cool Treats Stamp Set and Dies.  Now I love them both but understand that you might not use dies, so I have also made a card with just the stamps so that you can see the possibilities!

Do you remember the Neapolitan ice cream when we were little - yummy Vanilla, scrumptious Strawberry and then the Chocolate!!! (always ate them in this order every time! lol) - well that is what I had in my mind when making this card!

The stamps are really easy to line up as they are photo-polymer clear stamps and there is so much detail in this stamp set.... little sprinkles, cherries, even ice cones!

I used lots of colors (see below) today also to get the two tone effect on the ice creams.... do they look good enough to eat?  I think so!

So just to give you the details for this set - remember this bundle like all the others in the 16/17 catalogue will no longer be bundle in the new catalogue, so if you want them with the 10% off make sure you order before the end of May.  These are carrying over to the new catalogue so we will be seeing them around for another year at least.

I shall be back on Wednesday with some more cards to share with you

Until then, happy stamping

Swirly bird and Cool treats combo!

Hello!

Well this is a little extra post for you this week as I remembered that I used the Swirly Bird stamp set with the awesome Cool Treats Bundle in the last few weeks for my sisters birthday card, and as her birthday was at the weekend - I can now share this one too!

I saw this card HERE at Libby Stamps and knew that I wanted to CASE for my sister and LOVED the color.  Now orange is not a normal go to color for me.... I am a pink or purple girl normally, but I really wanted to recreate this lovely card.  Thank you Libby for the inspiration!

I used Peekaboo Peach, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip..... these colors even sound like an ice cream!

You can see that I used one of the swirls and the splash stamps (which were stamped off before using on the card for a lighter color) for the background and then made the lovely ice creams with the stamps and dies.  The sentiment is from the Cool Treats stamp set too with a couple of those enamel shapes to finish it off.

Hope you enjoyed my ice cream surprise and see you back tomorrow with 2 cards made with the dies from the bundle.

Hugs Sam xx
